wow, should I buy this Xterra?

i know this is a frontier board, but its the only nissan board i post on. the other day, i drove past the 2000 xterra in the pictures below. its got a SAS-spring over with 4-link. shackles and longer leafs in the rear. its sitting on 36x12.50 tires. the guy is asking 6200 for it. the neighbor told me its been sitting there for a long time. im guessing i might be able to get it for 5.

im from long island, so its very very very rare to see a true off-road rig. usually if a truck is sitting on 35s or bigger its a mall crawler...so i was shocked when i saw this thing. its the 2nd time ive ever seen a SASed truck on long island and it was a nissan!

i dont have much wheelin or wrenching experience, so i thought this might be a perfect truck for me to start learning on... whaddya think?

It was up last week. Don't know the real outcome, ebay just says "ended" and there's a $4900 next to it. It was listed buy now for $6000. That front axle work alone is almost 6k probably (if he didn't install it himself).

go look at it in person and get detailed pics of the suspension, links, and welds and a few of us with some experience can offer up opinions. otherwise, it just looks like a lifted truck.
