Whiskey: A Connoisseur

I turned 21 in March and I've been entering the drinking scene now...

Recently I've really been getting into whiskey a lot. More of a connoisseur than just getting drunk off it really.

I've tried:
Jack Daniels http://www.jackdaniels.com/
Red Stag by Jim Beam (black cherry) About Red Stag | Flavored Bourbon Whiskey | Jim Beam Bourbons
Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey Fireball Whisky | Verify Your Age
Maker's Mark Maker's Mark® | Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Handmade Whisky
Jameson Irish Whiskey Jameson Irish Whiskey - Welcome to the Home of the world?s number one Irish whiskey
Johnnie Walker (black label) Johnnie Walker

Does anyone have any suggestions? Local whiskeys? I'm definitely into the flavored ones ie. Fireball & Redstag but I'm down to try anything.

There's got to be some other whiskey connoisseurs out there somewhere.

No collection would be complete without some crown royal.

Macallan is my every day.
I also like B&B. Cognac and Bénédictine combo. Ths will keep you warm on a cold night.

and these are awesome Whiskey Disks - Handcrafted Whiskey Stones to chill your finest Scotch, whiskey or bourbon without diluting. keeps it chilled with out ice melt.

I'm a single malt scotch guy. My favorite is Glenlivet 12 or 18. The 18 is way smoother, but much more expensive.

Both pair nicely with a premium cigar.

There's so much to learn! The whiskey disks are awesome probably add some to my Xmas list.
I searched everyone's favorites, there's so much to choose from. I've been wondering about crown royal for a while and I never knew the specifics of a "scotch" whiskey versus anything else.

With all the smaller distilleries out there making fine craft whiskeys it's kind of a wonder why people drink the big brand names.
Same with beer though too so I don't know... I guess that's just how the general public is.
