Yeah X I got your PM I knew you'd be a good source for a lighting question lol.
One guy at work carries an olight that he likes and claims is the best. And the other carries a stream light.
I like the foursevens lights they look really nice for the money.

Anyone used a monster? Company is "monsterflashlight" they've also got some decent looking lights with high lumen ratings for a good price. There's not too many comparisons on YouTube but there's a guy who swears by them on there.

I carry a Sunwayman V20C on my person -

It's about the same size as most 2AA cell pocket flashlights, so it's compact and easy to carry.

It has a brightness adjustment dial that allows you to instantly dial up any brightness from approx. 2 to 470 lumens.

Uses a single rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion cell, so it's cheap to keep running.

In the Frontier's glove box, I keep a Jetbeam PA40 ...

Produces 468 lumens from 4 AA cells (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable) - I use low self-discharge Sanyo Eneloop NiMH cells in it for decent shelf life during hot south Texas summers.

I've got several Goal Zero Bolt LED flashlights and can get them for a decent price if anyone wants one, they also have a setup with a solar panel to charge it for a little more. They (goal zero) are located out of Draper Utah and I know a few direct sales people for them so I can get just above dealer cost for almost any of the products they sell

Check them out at:

Let me know if there is anything you want and I'll pass the savings onto you

I went to costco and just got 3 of their "tactical" lights. For 20 bucks in my opinion its a good deal. They are pretty bright and use 3 aaa batteries each. Gets the job done for me. Next time I go to Mexico I'm going to try and bring a few packs to give out to my family down there. They are out in the woods in the dark and could really use them. Even these cheap costco lights are like liquid gold down there

Been doing a TON of research, as I always do, and there's a couple foursevens lights I need to read up on and I really like the Klarus XT-11.
The ability to have a rechargeable 18650 battery is great for me. I can rotate 2 batteries and be good to go.
