ford hasn't made a new lightning yet, but eveer since 2004 i've read ford is going to make a 550 hp lightning to compete with the srt10 ram, as of 2007 no lightning so i think the lightning is a thing in fords past althought ford as produced the saleen and roush trucks even they are no lightning, ford PLEASE bring the lightning back!

i love the look of the ss always did. Sadly even though i hate the look i had to go with the srt10. The lighting is sick but its old and only reason the dodge wins. If ford made a new one it would kick the srt's *** but its hard to compete when a truck has a viper engine.

i'd have to say ford is the best looking one, the dodge would destroy both lightning and ss in the 1/4 mile but i want style also, though noth the dodge and chevy look good the ford has my vote for looks hand down, also chevy has the limited production joe gibbs racing trucks also with a blown 4.8 liter v8 with 390 hp.

HAHA anyone picking the ram evadently doesnt know anything about them... u think oooohhh viper motor fast!.... HA. im sorry vipers.... especially the srt ram are NOT fast. they are high HP tanks. they pack so much weight they need all that hp just to break a decent time. a viper is the very last car you ever want for a drag car. and the viper truck is just flat not a good "muscle truck"..... i hate fords. id pick chevys any day over them... but the lightning hands down has this competition in the bag.... unless you want to change that pansy srt10 ram to a REAL dodge ram.... Cummins turbo diesel. those are the real muscle trucks of the modern world. diesel owns.

if the srt would concentrate more on performance and not looks. they would be way better off. but the first step is ditching those gay *** 22" wheels! those are NOT a performance truck wheel, u dont race on 22's i dont care who u are.

and picking up one for less than 35k vs the almost 50k for a srt.... i think hands down the ford is all around better truck.

only thing i like about the dodge more is it comes with a manual and better yet a 6 spd. vs the fords auto 4 spd only. because ford cant seem to come up with a tranny to handle 450 ft lbs of torque.

the lightning is an all around better truck. and now with the release of the saleen f150 the dodge has some MAJOR catching up to do to compete with the ford. And i tend to like dodges over a ford any day of the week. My issue is that the dodge handles worse than my dads 3500 megacab diesel...atleast IMHO
