Only been Riding for a year so I'm moving up slowly in power. First bike was a 96 Yamaha Seca II 600. Only had it for 4 months before some ******* pulled out in front of me on the highway and I t-boned em at 65 miles an hour, flew over top of the car and rolled down the highway. Compound fracture to my left tibia and fibia, fractured left shoulder, and road rash all over. Had a helmet on though so my noggin is cool. Anyways, soon as I could walk again (3 months) bought a 2001 Katana 750. Oh I've been riding dirt bikes for ever though. Need a new one my 99 CR250 is getting old thinkin about goin 4 stroke this time.

(custom paint and polish everthing) or turbo it

I dont know which yet... I have the paint already (got it for free) but I want mo powah the 600 isnt cuttin it with 80-100hp. a turbo would make about 135 to the rear with a much better power curve.
Dude, don't waste your money! By the time you pay for a turbo for (and I'm pretty sure they don't make a bolt up for your bike) you can have bought a 750 or 1000. You will most likly never use a 750 to it's potential and will DEFINATLY NEVER use a 1000 to it's. A turbo will make alot of power but at the expence of your motor. I work with street bikes. My brother owns a custom shop here in Myrtle Beach and I've never seen a high rev motor with a turbo last. Unless it's never ridden or the boost it so low it doesn't make alot of power. Either go with a bigger bike or just do some mods to yours. A exhaust, PwrCmdr and Dyno tune will make a huge differance. I know alot of little secrets to help gain power too. If you want some help give me a shout. I'd be glad to help.
