i have the outlander max 650. all the racks, winch, windsheild for the lake in the winter time, plow, hand warmers for me and my passanger. not totally broken in yet and i hit 70 without a problem. the guy down the road from me has the 800 max and his speedo has been almost up to 80 but he weighs in at a hefty 300 plus.
my friend jim just got the one your looking at 2 weeks ago. i havent rode with him yet but he says the thing is sick. pulls the front end up at 30 mph. hes 6'6" and about 280lbs.
all of us have nothing but good stuff to say about can-am. i had sticker shock when i bought mine. 2 trade ins and i still payed 7200 with all the extras. my freind jim got his renegade at Gander mtn, they had a 10% off the entire store and he payed about 7 for his.

one thing i have to add is. trees laying on their side over 2 feet i can make it over. i stopped in a mud hole in the summer waited for it to sink to my shins and it pulled it self right out no winch.

The only thing we all dont like is the weight. they are f'in heavy. Mine is over 700 lbs.

I've got a 98 Big Bear 4x4.. you aren't lying--those things won't die! The brakes have never really worked on mine either.

I've also got a 2005 Suzuki Vinson 500 4x4 Auto.. that dude is a BEAST!!

Oh yeah and a 2002 Polaris Xpedition 425 4x4--the only manual shift Polaris ever built.. I like it, too!

WestTexas.. how do you like that KingQuad 450? I'm thinking about getting one of those as my next one.. I'll be shopping for one next summer and that's my pick so far..

Yeah sounds pretty good! The Vinson 500 is really more than I need so for me I see no reason going any bigger. I'd love to get myself one of those for Christmas.. but the whole one more semester of college thing makes me want to wait.. haha. I'll holler at you again when I get closer to buying one to see if your opinion has changed!

2007 Ds650x is what i ride. Can-am are good bikes the renegade is ridiculous !!!!! that thing has so much power its unreal I am more of a sport rider but i would love to have a renegade! Get it you will love it. I have seen a guy out at the river bed hear in PHx ride a wheelie in revers on an out lander which is the same bike "almost" If you want a lot of power that's the quad for you.

Are you looking for a sport bike or a trial bike?
