so for all those married folks out there what are some of the things you got for a wedding gift?

im hoping we get a good amount of cash so we can get some new tires for the 2nd gen , Natalie is hating the drive back and forth with chunks missing on the firestones haha , and need to get a new set of coilovers or atleast one

stand by for toasters, popcorn machines, crock pots, pans, plates, silverware, deep fryers, f0ckin cotton candy machines... everything you don't want and won't use.

edit; maybe the cotton candy machine, but nothing else!

Wow, that was 42 years ago. The only thing I remember is a set of plastic drinking glasses which we still use. I think of the person who gave them to us now whenever I drink from them.

We had a small wedding thus not very many gifts. I don't remember many of my friends getting money back then except from their parents.

Firstly I think sensible things for wedding gifts like cooking gear etc or you can just tell people you need the money
My Niece did that and they got heaps

Good or bad thing well I had really only been sticking round for the sake of my kids.
No matter what they will always come first .Part of the deal with Marriage

$30,000?!?!?!?! Holy frijole!! A very different crowd than was at my wedding!

Tell people that you're registered at Discount Tire or wherever you intend to get tires and let people get you gift cards, or if they don't offer that, it might suggest to some people to give you cash instead.

Also, the less crap you register for (you know, china, flatware, etc., crap like that) the more likely you'll get cash instead as it simplifies the choices for your guests.

A lot of people will throw in a gift receipt so just find out where all the return isle's are and you'll be set.
