Walmart in Mesquite nevada screwed up my SCION XB

Had a oil change done long time ago with mobil one syn right full service. I just changed the oil myself today and noticed air box lid wasnt tightened on or unlatched. Then i checked oil level over full, drain plug over tightened, wrong scedule information on printout so basical they messed everything up. If my 2005 scion xb sucked dirt in the engine what recourse do i have. I bought this scion brand new.

if youre scion wouldve blown up, walmart wouldve bought you a new engine and installed it. i used to work at walmart and got to pickup all the "warranty work" cars from the mechanic. lets just say i made at least 1 trip every 2 weeks.

Avoid Walmart for oil changes!!!!!!!!!

I doubt if you have any recourse at this point. Hopefully you haven't been driving in extremely dusty environments since that Wally World oil change. I wouldn't let them change the oil in my lawn mower let alone my Nissans.

I've gotten all my oil changes at walmart since the very first one, and they haven't messed up at all. The first few oil changes I watched them from start to finish. Guess it depends on the location. The place I go to even goes so far as to soap and wash down the engine skid since it's almost impossible not to get oil on it. Either way can't beat $20 and some change for an oil change.

I have to agree, if you can't do the oil change yourself-(no one will do a better job on your vehicle than you) take it somewhere reputable. we have "Jiffy Lube" stores here.
the company i used to work for took a new F-350 Power Stroke diesel in for it's first oil change. they litterally filled it witth oil, on start up it stalled, they started it again and hit the throttle, reved and stalled, one more time..kept it going with the throttle. it blew the engine apart,..they had to pay for a new 7,500 motor.
