Thanksgiving

What are people's plans for Thanksgiving? This is by far my favorite holiday, because it's all about family, friends, food, football, and offroading.

We go to our property in the desert east of San Diego. Usually have about 15-20 people all weekend at various times, starting Wednesday through Sunday. We usually cook 4-6 turkeys in the ground, and this year I am going to add a big beef roast in to the mix. Add in 5 days of offroading...pure bliss.

What are your plans?

^I remember you talking about this last year. 5 days of off roading sounds amazing. My husband is out of town, so I will be spending Thanksgiving with my parents and my brother and his significant other in Nor Cal.

Our next Thanksgiving is a year away - little too early to make plans.

On Wednesday were staying over at Mohegan Sun (Casino). They have a kids area that my kid absolutely loves. We'll leave about 2pm on Thanksgiving and head to my sisters house for turkey. Then I have a five week vacation, so thats pretty cool.

pain of discipline.
pain of regret.

It is, but there is a trade off. I have to work every Saturday and Sunday from April through October. It kind of sucks working those hours, but it is what it is
