Tech Geeks: ASUS Eee PC

I am somewhat of a tech geek, you could say, and I just found this. I must say it is one of the coolest things I've seen come along in while.

ASUS | Eee PC

It's a laptop with a 7" screen, Linux OS, Wireless, and all kinds of features all for about $300-400 dollars.

Yeah, the EEEPC is kinda neat. I saw a comparo between it and the OLPC machines....they did not come out favorably...(the OLPC ones)

The geeks are going crazy for it. I'm so sick of hearing about it I could scream. Every laptop suggestion thread that comes up "OMGZ EEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It doesn't appeal to me much, but whatever floats your boat. I'd rather have a 13 inch screen. The price is rather nice, though.

That is pretty cool especially considering the price. Also being a linux os makes it so much more versitile as open source programs are becoming much more common.
