Sold the Frontier

I finally had it with the clutch and tranny. 2007 crew 4X4 4.0 engine. The clutch rattle that the dealer just could not find well I had enough. I Bought a Hemi Grand Cherokee Limited with 20k miles for $18000. The gas mileage is not good but its a blast to drive. Leather,Sunroof,NAV, The works.

hope it has a better xfer case than the GC I had...60k and it was toast along with the tranny and 5 of the 8 injectors. electrical gremlins abound in chrysler products, the more options you have, the more things there are to go awry. sorry to hear that you downgraded from a truck with a couple issues to a complete POS.

I had a 96 ltd grand.. It was as stated above.. Lots of clunks, warped break rotors, electrical issues, xfer case and tranny issues.. motor was great asside from the damn water pump that went out every 45k... Good luck! I think the new ones have come allong way though..

LOL. I'm starting to get tired of my truck too. My major issue is the clutch rattle as well. Other reasons include ABLS (and computer BS like WOT lockout under 35mph), Shitty HVAC system that does not allow you to override the compressor even with the AC switched off, 15MPG normal driving (WTF?), Crappy bumpers (I can bend and move them with my bare hands!).

However I must give props to the engine and the frame. Both are absolutely bullet proof!
