Shaving Cream or Gel or WHATEVER...
i have used a Electric Razor most of my life and i jus switched to a scratch razor, Anyway, wondering what kind of Razor and Cream,GEL, or lotion everyone uses. Looking for closeness and least chance of cuts. And for the sake of it what After shave or Talc they use please chime in
Right now i use the Quattro with Gillette shaving gel, seems alright but i dont know any better

Barbisol cream. I shave my head too. I dont have an allegance to any particular razor, as long as it has a pivoting head.
edit: nothing beats a barbershop hot shave! A luxury every man has to try at least once in thier life.

I use the quattro with neutrogena shave cream with neutrogena aftershave lotion.

I use a double edge Merkur razor with Proraso cream. In a pinch, I will use my Mach III. Never been cut using this set up, nor have I experienced razor burn.

i use that 5 blade Fusion razor (its amazing) and what ever bar soap is in the shower. Of course.. I dont even have to shave but once every 2-3 weeks. I love my genetics.

I use gel and mach III disposable most the time but I had shaveing so I'm thinking I need to go back to the beard.. the chicks dig it..

I shave in the shower using a Gillette razor. For years I don't bother using shaving cream or soap and never get any irritation from skipping it. If there are lubricating strips on the razor and your skin is wet there's no problem.
