these trucks are pretty rare. i see more acura nsx's, porsche 911 turbos, bentley gts, rolls-royce phantoms than this truck. on the other hand, frontys of all makes and models are a dime a dozen here....

They were released in oz a couple of months ago. Tritons are similar in size to the Navara, but the bed is a bit smaller to make more room in the cab.(the rear seats angle back more for a better ride but wont fold up)

Tritons definatly have manual in either turbo diesel or V6. The best features they have is an optional rear locking diff a 1 ton pay load and higher standard ground clearance. But anything else the Navara beats it hands down. Added to the fact they are very f@#ckn' ugly up close i would not be trading the nav in on one.

its a mirror. really old japanese cars usually had one on each fron fender in place of the regular mirrors.

That's so they can see the Navaras passing them.

Yes, something IS odd there, almost as if Mitsu photoshopped the thing and botched the job. I didn't see it this first time, but you're right.

The old 100% Mitsu-built pickups were well built; I still see them on the road. My daily driver is a '92 Mitsu car with 206K Miles on it. Too bad Mitsu lost their way in the late '90s. As you probably know, the brand almost went under a few years ago.
