San Diego, CA

Anyone from out there? I'm going this week for a concert. I'll be there for two days, one night. Looking for fun things to do.

Any good clubs/bars on thursday nights?

I was thinking of doing either the beach or a theme park on friday morning/afternoon. What's a nice looking beach over there?

nice beach? Ocean beach is a righteous beach, or if you just wanna see some wicked cliffs check out sun set cliffs off 8west. La Jolla is always a winner too, expensive area big houses ferraris in everybody's garage. Coronado island is another classic tourist spot, and point loma. There!

Attractions? the san diego zoo or sea world. clubs? If you wanna dress up which i never do, then go downtown theres a millions clubs. If not than pacific beach bar and grill off highway 5 and garnet ave. its a surf skate snowboard so cal bar/club where you can wear ur flipflops and board shorts and nobody gives a damn. anybody in daygo will tell you its the s***.

weather is super sweet right now too, enjoy!

I live right off of Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, it's pretty decent to look at. Pacific Beach is pretty much the spot you want if you are looking for bars and entertainment. Downtown is a PIA to deal with, everything is overpriced and no parking anywhere. LoJolla is real ritzy, but fun to look at, there is the Glider port overlooking Black's Beach which is a popular surf spot. You may also get lucky and see some nude sunbathers. I would recommend the ZOO if you are into that sort of thing, I go multiple times a year and love it still. Sea World is overrated and too expensive, but if you have never been I would recommend going at least once. Sea World is 1.2 miles from my house in Ocean Beach, the zoo is about 5 miles away, Pacific Beach is about 5 miles, LaJolla is just a bit farther than PB. So everything is relatively close.

I know some semi-secret (as in tourist never find them)beaches down Sunset Cliffs, I would be more than happy to point them out to you. LaJolla and Black's beach are really nice for just relaxing or playing in the water. There are plenty of spots to rent kayaks, surfboards, body boards and etc. If you plan on trying to surf or body board I would go to tourmaline beach in PB or LaJolla shores...Ocean Beach is a little territorial sometimes.

If you need directions or more info about anything let me know. Also, my wife is a chef, so if your looking for any decent restaurants or fancy dining I can point you in the right direction

cheers to that blackpearl. Devilrunner, sly, you and I should hit the dirt sometime i'm getting a new wheel tire package within the next week and a half and wanna test em out with a group (way more fun).

speaking of off roading do you know of any areas in san diego county that are good places to take our rides? Cause the only place I know of is at the end of H street in chula vista where it runs into protor valley road and twists around mount miguel. 5mile dirt road with a several small dirt trails for ATV's and bikes.
