Looking at that site I noticed that the Crew Cab only comes in automatic, and the Extended Cab only way to get a manual is to get a 4cyl engine with 2wd all the V-6 models and 4x4's will be automatic (if that site is correct). So if you want a V6 with a manual or a Crew Cab with a manual or a 4x4 with a manual it looks like you have to stick to Nissan.

I know its built with the frontier...i would just rather have the nissan. Its like how a mazda truck is a ford ranger,an isuzu truck is a chevy colorado, and a mitsubishi truck is a dodge dakota....now a suzuki truck is a nissan. I dont know if it will sell that great though...how many isuzus, mazda b series, and mitsu raiders do you see? I dont see many...i think people buy brands that they trust more esp with trucks.

I think its a good thing for nissan, selling more trucks under a different name. I wonder what nissan gets out of bulding these trucks for suzuki?

Nissan has a small aftermarket in terms of the trucks..I don't think the Suzuki name is going to change that since they really don't have that much support either.

Dee De Dee

I dont get it, did Suzuki outsource their product managment staff to **insert 3rd world country here**? Who is going to go to the Suzuki dealer (I dont even think there is one in Fresno) to buy a truck? Let alone to pay more for a Nissan than if they bought it at a Nissan dealer? I also dont think they are going to move enought units to justify a training program for their techs to work on the darn things. So even if you bought one you would might have to drive to the Nissan dealer to get it worked on. Not to mention that the Consult devices the dealer would need to work on them run about 3-4 grand and further errode profit margins. I think they are betting that hard core suziki riders are going to want truck to match their bikes and ATV's. That sure worked for Honda with the Ridgeline (not), but I digress.
