i'll just stick with a frontier, im not bashing the equator or anything i just think the frontier's front end looks better, even if the nissan is 3 grand more and the warranty isn't as good as the zuki i'd still rather have a frontier but thats just me.

So if you want a V6 with a manual or a Crew Cab with a manual or a 4x4 with a manual it looks like you have to stick to Nissan.
They list MT/AT mpg's under CC 4x4 and they list the 5-speed auto as 'available'. They also list a curb weight for manual separate from the auto (and they also list both for longbed as well.)

oddly, they list ground clearance at the front diff as 8.9", 10.1" at the rear diff.

I just like the thought that alot of the stuff made for the Goozgooki will probably fit on the Nissan.

I didn't see a 6-Speed stick option on any trim with the Equator.

Suzuki's marketing it as a toy hauler, an additional element in the Suzuki circle of outdoors recreation with their marine engines, quads and motorbikes. Seems to me that Suzuki is a few years behind the curve, as they're introducing the Equator at a time when truck and SUV sales are in the dumper. I'll look at one just for the fun of it, but with a perfectly fine '06 Frontier in the garage, I've no buying interest in anything.

if you look at the spec tab, they list different values for manual and auto, that leads me to believe that the option must be there, I didnt look much farther for model options though so maybe I'm making a leap.

I didn't spend a lot of time on the Equator site either. Say, I really like your avatar! What a GREAT T-shirt. My wife got me a shirt that has a warning sign emblazoned on the front and it reads "DANGER - Man With Power Tools".

same exact clearance listed for us with 265's--dont really see how thats odd since its the same truck as frontier.

I dont think I've ever seen anything other than 'ground clearance' listed and it was 10.1 that I saw. I've never seen anything that lists clearance at the front diff of a frontier. I'm sure you're right, just looks odd to me.

and on the back it should say, "ARR, ARR, ARR!"

I love the grille and wheels on the extended cab, but the interior color schemes are wacko.
