the new 5.7 tundra or titan?

i was on CT and found a thread about a RC SB 5.7 tundra running a 13.9 then everyone but KINGMADE was seeming to be on the tundra's side of things KINGMADE seemed to be the only one positive about his titan, nissan should up the anty before we loose anymore titan owners, what do you guys think about this whole ordeal? tundra or titan?

I think the Tundra is ugly and wouldn't buy one. How often are you at a drag strip with your truck? I'm not racing that often and don't need the fastest truck just because it's the fastest truck.

I would take the TITAN

I say buy what you like. There will always be a better truck and a better deal. There is no point in getting hung up on those things.

Well, look at the engine that Nissan put in its first try at a full size pickup. Not bad in my opinion. I'm sure they have something up their sleeve for the next gen Titan that will be at the 390-405 hp range.

I can care less about Toyotas "5.7"...Titans look and feel way nicer.....I'd pick TITAN without thinking twice

Well.. to be honest I wouldn't buy either. I'd buy a new Silverado if I bought full-size.. but between the two I would definately pick the Titan. The Tundra makes me throw up a little everytime I see them..

I'de say that's a fairly accurate statement, or believable anyway....

It seems to be a theme with Nissan these days....Shift_horsepower
Just look at our Frontiers, 261hp 4.0L V6....not bad
As Argo said, for their first V8 pickup truck what they did was a very good thing. They will respond with a very worthy competitor. However at the rate Toyota is growing these days, they are pretty stiff competition. Nobody out there can say a Titan is a bad truck that is for sure.

on a side note, I never liked the name Silverado....Titan definitely wins in that catergory.

all I can say is when they bump the Titan to 390hp, they better bump the frontier to 320hp (not that I plan on buying another truck in the next 8 years anyway).
