Anyone want to buy a cute 3bd ranch in the Chicago burbs?

Also, has anyone tried the Mr. Clean aout wash thing? I have one, and it's pretty neat! Not so sure about the filtered mist as the end, I still dry my truck, but then we have really hard water here, so I always wipe all the water off to avoid water spots!

BWT, I love your screen name! Budrbean, that just cracks me up!
yes its the same one. For the smartass, I am a single male that does my own housecleaning........whats wrong with that? Or for that matter if youre married, whats wrong with pitching in and cleaning the house?

So DH bought one of the Mr Clean auto dry things. He washed his car, air dried after that mist thing, looks BEAUTIFUL! I did it to my truck, looked like crap. "spot free rinse" my butt! Rinsed it 3x with that thing, and hand dried it still had spots! Cleaned it nice though. Then later that day it was attacked by birds. Poo all over the hood & tonneau! Grrr I don't have time for this right now

I thought about getting that thing, however, I am very particular about my truck. I have a system and certain products that I use. I guess I fear change when its comes to cleaning my truck. That was my biggest worry about that thing. The water spots. Thanks for the info and helping me avoid disaster and a few choice words.

I agree with the spot free rinse BS! We have hard water here, so even when it rains we get water spots! I like the convience of just flipping the knob and going from soapy foam to rinse, but to say it's spot free is quite a stretch! Plus, the filter thingy that suposedly gives you the spot free rinse only lasts 2-3 rinses! Which may be why it didn't work for you! I still dry my truck after washing it any way!

The Mister Clean Auto Dry works great here in Upstate SC. Of course, we don't have hard water. I've been using one since they first came out. The filter also lasts alot longer here. So long, that by when it needs to be changed, I can't remember how long its been in.

Maybe I'll have better luck when we move there then.
What doesn't make sense to me is when DH used it on his car no problem, but on my truck YUCK. Maybe I'm not tall enough to hold it far enough away? Who knows.

OK...

I don't know why... but because of this thread, I asked the wife if we use them... And yes, we do... she said magic erasers are great... I wouldn't touch my truck with them though... I think there is something like they take off paint after to many uses... but yes, they are great for showers and tubs,,,

I just cain't believe i actually joined this thread... wow...

I'm gonna go drive my truck in some mud or something to make me feel like a man again... maby i'll fix something...
