I can see this as analternative for a guy who just wants a toy to trailer behind his 50' motorhome...
Who knows - it may be fairly bare bones and affordable?? yet too see..
SPECS. Mopar Jeep Wrangler Lower Forty
With 40-inch tires, the Lower Forty could've been called the Higher Forty, or maybe the Lower Forty-Eight, because this Mopar concept could drive pretty much anywhere in the U.S., or the world for that matter. Unveiled at the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas, Jeep Wrangler gets a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine to go along with those big wheels, something you won't find at your local Jeep dealer...yet.
that thing just looks cool but doesnt look like it could actually perform on trails. maybe the photo is distorted but those wheels cant travel at all. theres no flex whatsoever. that 5.7L V8 sounds nice though!

0 lift and 40s with a hemi thats a Low COG rig, i'd lose the 40s and 20s and get a set of 37s with 17s and a 3in lift call it a day if i wanted a joke (it is a JK) its a cool concept but I'll keep my XJ
This or your own custom? Who knows - it may be fairly bare bones and affordable?? yet too see..
SPECS.
the axles (dynatrac) under that jeep cost $15k. to turn those meats on the rocks, it probably has an atlas, thats another $2k. tires probably cost $2.5k.
so right off the bat, you are looking at almost $20k in upgrades in just raw materials. then theres dealer markup. no thanks.
its impossible for that vehicle to be more cost efficient then having someone custom build you a rock crawler.

i used to mod a truck, now i mod a house.
the guys at jeep built it mostly just to see if they could. someone asked if they could build a jeep with no lift at all but still have 40" tires. is it practical? not at all, but it still looks pretty sweet. i like the shorty windshield.

It also has a high fender kit for a little extra clearance. AEV was most likely involved in that build.
