Internet TV?

I'm going to be layed up from a back surgery for several months and was thinking that getting TV on my laptop might be handy. Anyone useing this? If so what's best & cheapest?

Why not just watch the regular tv?

Hulu is amazing. I would use it constantly if it weren't for the t.v's being bigger than a laptop screen

wish i had faster internet to enjoy tv on demand like that, unfortunately i'm in iraq paying $77 a month for 96 kilobit service

Depending on the braces and sleeping probs I may be in a room without a tv. Thanks for your help. I will look into hula/boxee.

and if your like me you get a IP address outside the US so most american based steaming sites like hulu don't work.

yeah, but usually when I turn on the tv I find something as interesting to watch.
