Other than the fact that Mosley is a clown after his recent public display and his family history the idea sounds cool. I can't imagine what the engineers will do with this stored energy. Maybe a bit more like the turbo days a bit of extra power stored for when it is needed. It will be interesting to follow this story a bit.

haven't heard about the supra...
I wonder if this technology would have any practical application for street use? It would probably save some wear and tear on brakes but i'm assuming that the kinetic energy it builds up can only be used for a short time after stopping (or hard deceleration at that).
