English in Alabama (guys from top gear)

I browse through videos on youtube often. If i see one that really stands out i will post it up. I have to say this is prob. the funniest video i have ever seen. Its about 3 english people trying to get eachother shot while driving through alabama. The white pickup truck is priceless, looks like it just came from brokeback mountain. If you need a laugh watch this video! Its the people from topgear. At the end, after all the funny parts they do something nice though. They have some balls doing this...i have to give them that.

they tried to do something nice then almost got sued because they "misrepresented" one of the cars. so one of the groups were going to try and get $25k from them in a suit. all because they were off by a year or two on the camaro. thats a wonderful charity group isnt it?

Yea I posted this last year I think when I ran across it..there's 4 or 5 parts to it. I laughed so freakin hard at that episode. I love that show.

ive seen it before and its pretty funny. however, I hate how everyone always puts AL in this situation to think we are a bunch of low class hicks that do nothing except favor incest, drink beer, and watch nascar.

I'm gonna have to agree. I'm from AL but I've been in NC since I was 12 and the people in AL are a whole lot friendlier. When I go down to see my family, I can't drive by someone out in their yard or somewhere without them throwing up a wave.

I have never been to Alabama so i couldnt tell you what its like.

I can say this.... i lived in SC for a year and there was A TON of people who are like that...not everyone but a lot were. Lots of inbreading, nascar, and uneducated people in SC (they have a 52 percent highschool dropout rating so that gives you an idea, and there schools rank dead last).

But i can also say that NC is a whole different world, i like NC a lot. I have family there and have spent a good amount of time there and its nothing like that. NC has a lot of southern hospitality, SC...not so much. I have also been to tennessee and liked it a lot there. So i guess its all in were you go.

Hey...how do you think i feel. I lived down there for a year and as soon as you say your from up north they assume that you live in like new york city and call you a yankee lol. I have lived in the country my whole life in PA, and its funny because i showed a few of my buddys down there a thing or two when we went fishing, and hunting lol. They didnt expect that...
