Say what you will, but GM is finally headed into the right direction. They are making cars people are excited to drive...or atleast look at. The HHR is a retarded concept and the Canyon/Colorado are inneed of a refresh, but other than that the line up isn't that bad. The Impala make look like a modern Lumina but atleast it doesn't look like the previous gen. The fullsize trucks are looking great these days, especially in black. GM is the only of the big three that seems to be making any headway. While they may not be out of the pit yet, they are atleast hanging on with two hands. The same can't be said about FoMoCo.

Hey now, what's wrong with the last gen Impalas?
But I agree. The Camaro isn't in the same league as the GTR. It's not a stupidfast car that few can afford. It's in direct competition with the Mustang, Challenger, and other sports-muscle cars that may be around.
t Inyourface: You could be right. Nothing is set yet, but the concept models are running LS2s. The L92 (6.2 variant you speak of) is set to be in the Impala SS but they're only planning a max of 390 hp in that right now. It's just a mildly stroked LS2 with DOD capabilities.
Time will tell on the engine, but we're sure it'll be over 400 hp. And will be out sometime 2009.
