Bad

Carry 15 tons on road or hard-pack? Yes. Carry 7 tons through mud, sand and snow without a road? Yes. Anti-lock brakes and Traction Control? Yes. Independent Suspensions? Yes. Central Tire Inflation? Yes. Selectable 2, 4, or 6-wheel drive? Yes.....Built by OSHKOSH. Engine by CATERPILLAR. 7-Speed Auto Transmission by ALLISON. Driven only by MARINES.

This is the short bed, there is also the long bed version. If I remember correctly towing capacity was 23,000 pounds. Most everything on it is aluminum.

how can Caterpillar possibly be having financial problems if they're doing government work?

btw, sweet rig. the trails around here are a little narrow though, it would have to run over trees.

They didn't have those when I was in Motor T. I like everything except the 7 speed auto.

I agree. Military Trucks are Bad@ss. One of my goals during my time in the Navy was to drive a Humvee, and when I went into the Reserves I finally got my shot. The Humvee was cool to drive but the big boys we had in the Inshore boat unit were our two Freightliners that we used to tow the boats and haul the tents with. I love big trucks, especially when they are dark green , government owned and carry American Heroes.
P.S. I took these shots at Naval Station Everett, igbar's neighborhood.

I'm gonna have to agree with NG on this one... My truck puts way more horse power out than that thing does.. And.... who cares about 6 wheel drive... Hell I got 9 wheels, and just use 4 at a time...

Talk about everything that doesn't relate to the Nissan Frontier. This section is pretty much a free for all. Have fun here.

You started off with 9 wheels and the "wimpy" truck ripped 5 of them off during the truck pull event.

That's a homely machine there. That top speed is a killer.
