Anyone ever looked at a Ridgline?

So I was bored the other day and saw a Honda commercial on TV. I decided to go to the Honda website and look at the Ridgelines beings that I've never paid attention to them so I never knew what they "offered". Has anyone ever looked at the stats on these things. 246HP/245TQ, 5,000 lbs Towing Capacity, 1,100 lb Payload! These things have more HP than a Tacoma! HAHA. I couldn't believe it. That just amazed me. They look retarded but the one thing they've got that would really be nice is the trunk in the bed. Other than that I don't really like them. Anyway, the numbers completely baffled me so I thought I'd share.

They are unibody, have IFS and IRS, no lo range, and I havent heard too many good things about the 3.5L. If you use your truck like a commuter car, and only very rarely use it as a truck, they are probably great!

The dealer where I got my truck also is a honda dealer. He said the ridgeline isn't a real truck that they sit on a car frame not a truck frame whatever that means!

They are literally re-engineered Odyssey Minivans

I have three work trucks: two Frontiers and a Ridgeline (which I drove exclusively for 2 years). I do not have time right now to compare them properly. The RL is a fine vehicle with lots of superior engineering and refinements. Those do not include traditional truck performance. I personally believe that it is engineered to the edge, meaning Honda has managed to get maximum performance out of the minimum amount of HP, torque and clearance. Its AWD system is not to be believed in the rain, snow & ice. It is a niche vehicle for those that do not wish to do anything beyond light off roading because its stock functional clearance is simply awful. This is the real reason I'm not driving it now. In my opinion, it is a great street truck. However, it can not be modified in the traditional truck sense, like lifts, large wheels and engine mods.

They are ugly, but you can't really complain about the payload.

The ridgeline is a minivan with a truck bed. Howerever I'm sure the 3.5 motor in it is great, it is a very popular motor used in many v6 Sandrails.

I used to think poorly of the rl. I'll have to rethink it after I check it out.
