If you want raw muscle, get a '69 Roadrunner or GTX with the 426 Hemi engine. More class? Get a Pontiac Goat or Mustang.

Unbelievable power all of them. But they will look out of place in today's world of fuel injection, ABS, traction control, and all the other modern innovations. Sigh! Then was then and now is now.

I was reffering to BOTH as a Poll choice, I grew up with a 66 stang 289 for 1st car, 2nd was 71 stang with a 429CJ, 3rd 75 280Z SCCA raced and street. many other along the way including building my own 91 300z twin turbo into a 500hp daily driver before you really had anything like that on the street, and that started my own business at the time building those, Supra's, RX 7's etc, Curently in the garage I have a fuel injected 383in an 87 Suburban with a 300horse fogger Nitrous system plumbed into the Accel super ram, and a 79 El Camino racetruck with a 580 BBC and 400 plate system, and of course the Frontier thats too tall to fit into the garage. As a CT said that was then this is now So I would take old school look with Big inches twin turbo'd, big brakes, G spec'd suspension and handling, ac, and a reach in the window turn the key drive across country reliabilty. in other words, Iam a CAR GUY I like it all...................

I had a "Ford" Probe GT and it went to crap after about 90,000 miles. My son has a Honda Civic and it has 120,000 with not a single problem. I do not trust or believe in American cars and I am a retired serviceman (23 years). I would buy a Asian Invasion sportscar in a heartbeat. A 350 Z...

I can't pick.

One side of me is screaming '67 S/C Cobra 427 with huge chrome Weber carbs, and the other side wants a drop top Silvia Varietta.

And for true Nissan enthusiasts:

The Probe was made by Mazda.
