altima coupe

yep you read it right! i have seen an article about an altima coupe supposedly being shot for some kind of video or commercial and as i was having a chitchat at the dealership while my truck was in for service, i have some knowledge that the car will arrive around the same time next year, a year after the new altima launches. i will probably go against the accord coupe, camry solara, etc and carry the next altima's drivetrain.

Yea they have been working on the altima coupe for quite a while now. My brother works at the Nissan plant and told me the coupe will be out one year after the 07 comes out (which started production this week)... the new Se-R will be out in one year as well.

Kind of reminds me of the g35 coupe... I like it

Well hopefully they keep some variation of the VQ35 in it.. Or maybe they can bring back some of the old turbo glory days... Either way would be nice...

since it is an altima, i expect it to have front wheel drive and a choice of either a four banger or a v6. and probably an altima se-r coupe a year after the se-r sedan comes out

If it looks anything like this from AutoBlog, it's pretty sweet lookin. A little hint of G35 Coupe roof line with an Altima front end.

The pics didn't load for me, but I love the idea of an Altima coupe.
