2 Brand new GTRs abused at the strip

2 brand new Skyrines show up at a SE Wisc. drag strip with dealer plates and plastic still on the interior...I feel sorry for the poor person that buys either one.

And the most embarrassing part of it all..................

The thread it came from....

Honda-Tech.com: General Discussion and Debate: Dealer racing pre deilvery GTR's at a local track.

OMG they cant drive worth $hit. I would not call it abuse though, thats what the is built to do. It has a built in launch controller just for the launch off the tree. The car was built to run so thats what should be done to it.

i wonder if they used the launch feature. all you have to do is hold the wheel and it launches perfectly. badass.

hell yeah, AWD launches are sick. My brother has a 400whp STI and when he launched it that thing was gone, all four wheels would spin for about .5 seconds then just go.

probably not pushing them to the limit due to the engine and driveline not broken in yet, them cars should be close to the 11 sec mark.

I was talking to my local shoptech and he was say to do a break job he has to get the brakes red hot, and must put 100 miles on it before he can give it back to the customer, Also there 2 GT-Rs sold to a lawyer and Francis Ford Coppola.

HERE IS THE MYSTERY RESOLVED :
WOW, YOU GUYS ARE REALLY FUNNY. WELL, JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR, I'M THE OWNER OF THE TWO CARS. WE WENT WILL MY FRIENDS TO TEST DRIVE THEM ON THE TRACK SUNDAY. SORRY I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR PERMISSION GUYS, BUT SINCE I OWN THE CARS, I PAID FOR THE CARS I DON'T THINK I SHOULD. YES I DO OWN A DEALERSHIP AND YES I TOOK MY PLATES OFF BEFORE GOING TO THE TRACK. YES, I DID BUY ONE OF THE CARS FROM ROSEN NISSAN, THE OTHER ONE IS FROM A DEALER IN CHICAGO, IL. THE GUY ON THE PICTURE IS NOT SCOTT FOOTE, IT'S MY BUDDY WHO DRIVES MY SECOND CAR. EVERYBODY WHO KNOWS SCOTT WILL CONFIRM THAT. SO NO CONSPIRACY, NO SECRET PLOT...
YOU CANNOT TAKE ONE OF THESE CARS FOR A JOY RIDE EVEN IF YOU OWN A NISSAN DEALER, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM FIRST )) SO THAT'S IT. ANYBODY ACCUSING SCOTT OR ROSEN SHOULD APPOLOGIZE.
IF THE WEATHER IS NICE, YOU CAN COME AND SEE THE CARS THIS SUNDAY, AS I WILL BE BRINGING THEM AGAIN )) I WANT TO TRY TO USE THE LAUNCH CONTROL... BY THE WAY IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THAT, LET ME KNOW
