1995 Honda Nighthawk CB750

I'm thinking of buying a 1995 Honda Nighthawk CB750 cruiser bike. Does anyone know anything about this bike? Is it a good bike? It will be my first street bike, so I want something that will be comfortable and fairly easy to handle. I've been riding dirtbike for a few years though, so I'm not brand new to bikes. Just new to street bikes.

Thanks!

The Nighthawk motor is pretty much bulletproof, but the V4's made some serious power. The Inlines are cheap and easier to work on than the V4's which have some known issues with cams and transmissions.

I've had both a 1991 Nighthawk CB250 (while in college 5 years) and a 1993 Nighthawk CB750 for about 7 years.

I had zero problems with either bike. I rode the 750 a little over 30,000 miles and the only things I changed were oil, oil filters, air filter, 1 set of brake pads, 2 sets of tires, and 1 chain. One cool thing about the Nighthawk is that you don't have to adjust the valves, which is nice. Being standard, it's really easy to ride, even coming off of something as light as a dirtbike. I rode mine pretty hard and still got high 40's low 50's for MPG.

Here's a pic:

I say definitely go for it, I wish I still had mine!

I had a 95 750 nighthawk. Hands down on the best commuter bikes I have ever owned very easy to work on and very low maintenance. I loved the sitting position it was like sitting in a chair for me. I used mine as my daily driver for about 2 years

I don't know how much this will matter but I had a 1984 CB750 Nighthawk as my first bike. It was about as perfect as a first bike could be. Mechanically bulletproof, fast enough to have fun on and crazy cheap to insure. If I could find another one in good shape I would probably buy it just for old time's sake.
