SF bay area to the Sierras

I have some big parts I want get from the bay area (Santa Cruz), and one of our member's. If you have a truck and are coming up to Truckee or even Auburn let me know. Help a brother out. I'll pay chip in gas money, beer, heck I'll just call it a hauling fee.

Might be heading to Reno on 12/30 for NYE, depending on what I'm picking up I might have space...

Thanks

Just saw Brian's post, I'm assuming you bought the sliders and diff cover. I can definitely bring the diff cover, as for the sliders, it depends on the length. I'm going to have luggage and my dog in bed of the truck so I can't put the sliders in diagonally.. I may be able to put them on my roof rack though...

Thanks

Yep. The sliders. They are long but they can stick out of the back end. 81" is what I have for a measurement. But heavy.
Thanks Brian for the lunch offer.

I'll buy lunch on my end too.
Hey Pathung, are you going to the snow wheeling trip in Auburn/Grass Valley later in the season. hint hint....
Not sure this is going to work for Pointman, as he will have a bedful of gear already.

Yes I'm registered for the Grass Valley trip - are you attending too? It'd be perfect to just hand them to you there.

This is crazy, but Pointmann may be able to bolt these onto his truck (two bolts each side), and uninstall again when he gets to you in Reno! AND Pointmann gets to look cool for a bit on the way up!

No I am going to go on that trip, I think I have other plans for that weekend. But I could drive down when you arrive to meet and pick up the parts. My in-laws also live in GV, so they can take delivery of them for me. I would of course take care of all the transaction ($ exchange) with Brian before hand, so the "courier" would not have to deal with any o that.

Good idea on the bolt on. Might not work as he is a CC and I a KC. They make different sliders for each, so I suspect either length or bolt patterns might not jive.

Okay, keep me in the loop about transport...

FWIW, when I bought my White Knuckle sliders, they told me that the CC and KC share the same wheel-base, so they don't make two separate versions of their sliders... food for thought.
