It will fit directly to your truck but you need to make sure the bolts from the diff and drive shaft (Flange)are the same. This one is a 4 bolt.

Yes it will fit. Not sure about the driveshaft though. But this isnt the same axle you have currently. You probably have the m226 with a locker. This is the c200k with 4.10 gearing and no locker. So you would have way better gearing for bigger tires, but no locker. I switched from this to an m226 with a different drive shaft connection. It was just drilled out to fit mine. So you currently have the m226 with a locker? Let me know man. Im going to be home on friday for break. Ill be leaving out of town sunday, but we could always meet up to take a look at it. Id love to get it out of my garage. Let me know, Im in Garden Grove.

Im not sure how you have a 2wd nismo? We just need to find out which axle you have currently.

okay thanks for the input. The truck is in the shop now and I'll let you guys know what exactly I'll need.
They had to send some parts off my truck to a "specialist" to see exactly what is wrong.

I would take it since it has 4.10's for sure, but I am in a bit of a situation with my current rear end...

It has the 4 bolt companion flange, right? I wonder if the 6 bolt flange from my axle would bolt right up... This isn't something you can throw on the boat next time you come over here, is it? The last time I looked at buying an m226 it was right around $220 to get it from Cali to Honolulu.

The way I understand it, 05' was the only year that came with an m226 with the e-locker in 2wd..

Yes it has the 4 bolt flange. I think it might bolt right up but im not sure. My drive shaft is the 4 bolt and I have it bolted up to an m226 with the 6 bolt but two extra holes were drilled in it to accommodate the 4 bolt pattern if that makes sense.

Sorry though man. Im not working on the Jean Anne anymore. That was just a training thing for me for a few months. Ill be home tomorrow though if anyone in so cal wants to check it out.

Cool, I have some stuff to straighten out over the next few weeks, but if you still have it then I would probably be a lock as long as I can swing the freight.

Did you ever have any troubles with the axle seals? And would you mind a pic of the m226 you are running now, just to kinda wrap my head around the 4 to 6 bolt idea I remember seeing pictures of the flange, but I'm wondering if you have any of the drive shaft bolted to the flange?

Update on the truck:
The rear locker will not dis-engage. Still waiting for word on the tranny and the driveshaft
