sounds pretty nasty
found it on youtube, dunno whose it is though YouTube - Frontier turbo! could it be a nevara?

Gotta be a Navara, it's a diesel. Sounds pretty good though for a small displacment one.

interesting considering i thought all navara's were right hand drive and in that video the driver is left hand drive, but it does sound like a diesel and they arent speaking english.

The dash looks like a first gen , they can do SR swaps , also prolly a turbo diesel as well , hard to say ?

sounds friggen horrible.
hard to tell if it is a deisel. it sounds like its got a big air leak, can't tell if it a boost leak or an exhaust leak.

don't think that is a boost leak ..... I'm almost positive that is blow off valve you hear. Oh and that fronty sounds awsome. sure wish that is what mine sounded like.

if its a blow off valve (which you wouldn't need) its hissing on when he put the foot down rather than poping off on the back throttle.
sounds like crap ! have a listen to this. YouTube - Stacks much better but still crappy

That video is horrible. The dash is def a 1st gen, but you can hardly see anything because of the bouncing around camera and beings that it was shot at night in the dark.
