But your saying now if you go back to stock you will no longer have the 2 degree advance the dealer did for you? I had the 2* from the dealer too, but I did not have an option in the 91 tune to go +2 down to 0. It was strictly 0 to -2. I'll be kinda po'd if I sell the programmer and put it all to stock, but my advance I had originally is wiped out. I was under the impression the programmer took whatever you had before any tunes installed, as your stock setting.

I am very seriously considering this item, the Cortex Model 4950
I have found it on 4wheelonline for $342.95 + Free Ship, best price I have yet to find.
For me, I'm planning to go with jut WOT disable and 87, I don't want to feed the truck a higher octane gas, I mainly want the ability to have WOT restored.
As for the SuperChips, contact the guy you find in this message:
About 12 or 15 of us just bought the Cortex and paid $315 with shipping included. However, the price might be $325 now. But you will have to call or send an e-mail message to find out.

Can someone point me to the graph that shows the dyno pull results.
I have been looking at some other dyno result graphs (Magnaflow) and am seeing some weird drop offs of both hp and ft-lbs at about 3,700 rpms and am wondering if the Cortex attempts to address this strange characteristic.

I'm not sure what you're seeing, but it could be any number of things causing the problem. The Nissan Variable Valve timing kicking in. Some odd anomoly in the way your engine breaths (like an exhaust or CAI that has a weakness at that air volume point), or other issues.
It COULD also be a glitch in how the Cortex programming works too. Just out of curiosity, to try to isolate whether it is a mechanical issue or related to the Cortex, are you seeing that drop near that RPM off with a stock tune? For a number of reasons the RPM could be different, but shouldn't be dramatically different.

See below, this is the dyno chart from Magnaflow, see the drops around 3,700, I have seen these before in other charts on the Frontier.
I'm trying to find a dyno pull graph of the 4.0 Frontier with the Superchips, I have not found one, so what I'm seeing in the chart has nothing to do with Superchips. I'm wondering if
A- I can find a Superchips graph
B- Does the Cortex help out this strange drop
