performance parts needed

Ok so was wondering since we are a stroked VQ35 that possibly we could switch certain parts and by that i mean stronger aftermarket parts, as a solution to the less than enthusiast approach from manufactures. Im thinking such parts as clutch's,injectors and headbolts, so on. Any advice is welcome and this could be a thread for those who want to discuss this issue without thread jacking and the possible right person not seeing it in time.

Thanks.Stan

well i have confirmed that we have the same ignition coils but other than that i have yet to confirm anything else because my buddy got married and sold his 350z and my other buddy totaled his g35 so after market coils like okada will work on our trucks but not quite sure if dishing out 500 for coils that add like 2 hp is a good idea....

Has anyone looked into the specs of the VQ40's and the VQ35's. bore and stroke, etc....

This might be a way to build a high compression VQ that could put down some nice numbers.

It would be like what Nissan does with the VK engine. The VK56 in the Titan and the VK50 in the new FX50, etc... Main difference is just the stroke of the engine.

the vq40 is the same bore as the vq35 just with a longer stroke. and we already run high compression thats why the stillen superchargers keep blowing up our motors

well i know its not really high compression but 9.7:1 is still higher then most forced induction apps. its the only reason i can think of why stillen superchargers keep blowing up our motors.

i dont know if you find somethink i would love to know cuz i would like to do a ton to my truck but i cant afford for it to blow up on me. and btw i dont know for our trucks specifically but when you change cams in other cars (from my experience) there is a ton of things that have to be changed also.
