one question (not motor related). why the TT? doesnt your sig indicate a locked m226 already? would the locker not be better than the tt (unless you're just building a mall crawler anyway)?
ok, so it was two questions, big deal.
one more I guess....why arent you done yet?

tt is stronger, not going to be a mall crawler, i think it will just be better to have it rather than worrying about the e locker.
just from the info ive gathered its a better mood, any input?
Happy Birthday! I'm havin' a Guinness for you and your swap as we speak

The TT(TruTrac) is going to be a lot stronger than the stock m226 gears. However, you are going to loose that selectable locker option you just spent all that money on. lol. The TT is a limited slip so it depends on what you really want. If your going to be racing a lot, TT...If your going to be hitting the trials, keep the locker and if you want to race DO NOT LOCK THE REAR UP! IT WILL BREAK!
yeah i understand that, the e locker is a good move, but its just not ideal for how much power will be putting to the ground, and i would rather have the tt, and its still good for trails, its just not great for when you need it locked. but there no reason you cant spin a bit then lock
got exhaust dropped out, worked on the manifolds a bit, gave me some trouble so i stopped for the day. getting the cherry picker and the motor to my house tomorrow. starting the pull tomorrow keep everyone updated.
heres a few more. got bored and tried to get full droop... to bad my jack doesnt get that high and i couldnt find a block to stick under it lol. also got the diff cleaned up, alot more than it was. keep you guys posted! have more pictures up tomorrow night when i get the picker the v8 and the v6 out
If I ever do the VK56 swap (once truck is paid 4) I would find a v8 pathy totaled in rear with a salvage title. Strip what I need for the swap and part the rest of it out on Ebay. PM me like I said if you need specs. on either truck, wiring diagrahms etc. Do work!!
