I agree and that is why I think testing by a member the a testimonial would go a long way to prove this to the member that don't believe in RTV.

One member tried the RTV and it failed while another is currently trying it and it is holding up so.....

I think that some real testing on a members truck will go a long way to help promote your business and your reputation.

Good Luck.
It will definitely work. I have tested this thoroughly. Also, think about the Nissan engines that come straight from the factory with RTV on the valve covers and oil pans. It will easily hold up for 20+ years.

But I completely understand your concern. And thank you for your suggestion. I may just look for a reputable member on this board to write his own unbiased review. But, lets not get ahead of ourselves. The prototype has to be made and tested first.

I agree that the channels are not designed to use RTV. We do not plan to use this type of gasket design. RTV works best when it is used on two milled and flat surfaces. It's possible it will work with the recessed channels, but it's tough to get a perfect bead. With the flat surface, it's much easier to apply.

Our instructions recommend to apply a pea size amount on your finger and smear it around each intake port. This ensures you do not apply too much and that it's a consistent and smooth application. It also ensures that the intake spacer stays perfectly lined up while you are installing the upper intake manifold. It's very important that the ports are perfectly lined up.

Applying RTV is much easier than it sounds. I promise. Just have a few rags near by to wipe your hands with afterwards.

I'm not OUT - let's just say that. Depending on the reviews and pricing, you may get another customer here.

Id be curious to see what a properly designed and tested spacer can actually do for our engine.
I'm glad to hear that you plan on making several prototypes and putting them through thorough testing. If it yields significant performance results, I don't see any reason how I could stop myself from buying one.

Hmmm, very interesting. I may have to dump my incorrectly machined paperweight I already have and buy a quality, tested product. Looks very good. Will these be readily available on your website once the testing, designing and building is done?

Mod Edit: We can all do without the flaming
* My Bad on that one *
Aaron , I think you shot your self in the foot when you said RTV .Everyone on here is going to jump all over that .I have a junked WRP spacer , wanna trade ? You can use it for something ? Im game if you put some effort into your products like testing and customer service as well .Its a plus you keep items in stock .Also can you make a kit that would include a Throttle body spacer ? I see you made a crank pullie for a maxima , can you do this for a frontier ?

Trade you a working IMs and a T-shirt for my WRP spacer ...
