More to the equation

So I posted recently about a rough idle.

2007 CC SE
44,000 miles on it
I baby it

It idles really rough, especially with the AC on. Took it by the dealership and he recommended an injection service. Said that should clear it up - I wasn't sure about that.

Now I have noticed something else. When I am driving around 30-40mph and let of the gas the truck sort of "jerks" back. Almost like a downshift. Just doesn't seem to be running all that smooth. Air filter is new.

So the question - do you think he's right? Would an injection service kill both of these birds?

Seafoam it... does the same thing and costs $7... search for seafoam on here and you will find all kinds of info... If that doesnt fix your problems, Id start looking elsewhere like maybe your fuel sending deal is going out like a few others on here..

Yeah, don't pay those aholes for that crap. Like XEKING said Seafoam will do the same thing. Mine runs ruff from time to time most with A/C on. I've taken it as just part of these trucks because my 05 I had before my 06 did it.

Anyway put Seafoam (any auto parts store should have it) in the tank with full tank of gas. Get on the highway and stomp the gas.

Two separate issues.

First one sounds like it MIGHT be a clogged injector. Also, could be a fouled plug. But you can go to Autozone and get some high quality injector cleaner, and after the engine is warmed up to operating temperature, run it a little hard. Not abusive, but make sure it revs and runs a little hard to blow out any accumulated carbon buildup if you've been "babying it."

Second issue **MIGHT** be related to a Nissan TSB (or it could be fouled injectors or fouled plugs).

and

and
• with the transmission in fifth gear and torque converter at full lockup
and
• with an engine speed of approximately 1100-1300 RPM
and
• at speeds of 35-45 MPH.
