I asked an estimated time for approval and he said it could be 6 months or 6 years... I'm not sure if they actually did request for approval or not yet, I think he was just making me a mushroom by feeding me shat and keeping me in the dark... Ha. So for anyone who lives in California or has the possibility of moving there I would hold off on purchasing these. If anyone has any insight on where the CARB approval stands please share the wealth. Thanks.
Who gives a rip if the entitlement state of crapafornia approves ANYTHING as you are in HI so screw the communist. CA sucks in ALL regards and will only hopefully fall off in the ocean where they will die. CARB is crap and a perfect example of liberal crap run amuck. I'm seriously tired of all the liberal CA communist in all regards and think they should move to France where they belong. Please leave as soon as possible and take the worthless congress with you you liberal limp @#*@ as you are only running our country into the ground. Screw bringing back the dinosaurs as I want our forefathers back so they can kick the liberal WUSSIES back to where they belong..... AKA France/Quebec

DIE already as no one love you. Keep your headers and enjoy them as the law allows in HI.

Yeah... I made this thread to make sure others were aware of the CARB approval for the JBAs because other threads hinted that they were approved. The only reason I am concerned about that was due to the fact I'm in the military and there is a chance that I could get stationed in California again, not a whole lot you can do when Uncle Sam tells you you have to go.

I was born and raised in California but i'm not a communist nor do i speak french... Ha.

There are some things in Hawaii that I could do without. Like the Reconstruction Inspections that most of the local boys seem to bypass, and the fact that regardless if you choose to keep another states registration for your vehicle you have to pay for an annual permit to drive on the roads and continue to get the annual safety inspections.

So California isn't the only state that sucks when it comes to vehicle laws and requirements.

I never had to install these gay fender flare extenders or worry about mud flaps in California.

FYI - My Nismo's don't look quite as rusted up as Yuki's but they by no means look as good as RDR's do. If I had to do it over again I'd have gotten them Jet Hott coated before install.

X2 on the bolts being a pita to get to on the Nismo's. If/when mine crack I'm going LT.

FYI - I recently went in to get my smog done, I have the JBA headers and Stillen CAI on my 2006 Frontier and it did not pass.

The tech was talking about some stickers I needed to show that they are California legal (CARB). I had no clue what he was talking about, as I've had both these items on my truck for 4-5 years and have never heard of this.

Anyway, I talked to both Stillen and JBA (Pertronix) and Stillen will be sending me a sticker for my CAI and JBA said that the headers recently passed by California and they will be sending me a sticker also.

It's only been a few days, so we'll see if I get the JBA sticker, although they did send me a letter in regards to my headers.

Hmm, still wondering if I should put mine on... Is there a way to tell if they are CARB approved? or are they all good?

Just install them. So what if they are not CARB approved. If not ship them my way.

CARB is only for California purposes. It stands for California Air Resource Board.

You need to check with your specific state to determine if they will work.
