Installed Fitch Fuel Catalyst

The fitch fuel catalyst I think is a must by for our trucks. We do get good gas mileage. But, in my case I am running bigger tires so my gas mileage is shot. After installing the catalyst, I took a trip with a couple of buddies to New Orleans which is an hour and a half away from my house and then went tubing which is another hour and a half. This was about 310 0r 315 miles away. I got their and back on a full tank of gas. I don't think it would help onthe interstate very much. On the highway mt DTE said 380!! I do trust the DTE because as I went about 30 miles my DTE said 350!! The Fitch Fuel Catalyst is a must buy if you are mostly on the highway.

Anything to help, KRIS

It would help if we had some before and after specs. What was your average mpg before installing the catalyst and what is it now?

Yeah, keep us posted. I'd like atleast to see it go through atleast 2-3 tanks. Before and after would be nice.

Reading fitch's website, it sounds like Junk science to me. Bacteria growth in the gasoline? Reverting back to crude oil?

Anecdotal evidence doesn't do it for me.

BTW, 300 miles in 3 hours, what, were you driving at 100 mph?

I'm all for good upgrades, but I'm seriously questioning this one.

So, lemme get this straight a "filter" will improve my gas? Get back to me when you return to your normal driving patterns and cease to see "improvements." When was the last time you took such a trip under such conditions?

Last I checked at 65 or 70mph, you are only going to get 98~105 miles in 1.h hours. Multiply that by 2 and I am still about 100 miles short of 310 miles.

I can easily drive 330 miles on one tank of gas in my '05 bone stock Nismo Crew cab. Congratulations, you spent money to improve your mileage to what I already get stock.

hum so let me get this straight u are bone stock and get good gas mileage, thats cool. Im not stock and with a 2" lift and a aftermarket air filter get better response and mileage compared to u. My 33's are on the way, they will drop my average 17.2 to about 15-16. Im guessing u dont see wut the hole deal with this is am i right? it's to get better mileage due to his 33x12.5 tryes im guessing u dont relize how big they are either huh. Those are reall 33's not 285's and that along with his 8" of lift contribute to sorry A$$ mileage and thus the reason for a catalyst.

oh and my best for city was 338.
