I am very interested in the NISMO. I am a little worried about the drop in low end torque you guys have been talking about. Plus, the warranty issue. My 08 only has 250 miles on it and I definately don't want to void the warranty.

Thanks EB, that one is sweet, i see the ones that mount to the frame alongside the window are neat too. This one looks more agressive and i THINK i like it sticking out...

Ready to pick up the Volant intake. I just wanted to make sure it WILL fit on an 08 as well. The website says 07, but I'm pretty sure it should fit...

My wife bought me the volant intake for my birthday, it should be here this week. Any tips on the install? I think I'm going to pick up a spare engine cover piece, because I would like to cut it like others have done to tighten up the gaps in the engine bay.

Sounds like the Volant would be my pick. Low end torque FTW. + i had one on my GTO it was better then all the other CAI's. I would like to see the low end dyno comparison between Volant, Nismo and stock. If the Nismo is only $189 bucks you could use the extra cash for a new muffler. I bet that would yield the same Torque gains as the Volant. You guys seem to be so interested in HP. Its the low end Torque that is important, it is what gets you moving. HP will keep you moving.

I would like to see the low end comparison as well. I agree torque is what moves a truck for all practical purposes.

I found this intake last week Cold Air Intake Kool Vue - 2006 Nissan Frontier - AutoPartsWarehouse.com and ordered it right away. It came it on Friday, I installed it with no major issues. Everything looks and sounds great, quality isn't bad at all, fitment was fine. The best part was that it was less than $65 shipped to my door. I don't have any pictures up yet, but will try and get some later on when I get the chance. Here are a few pictures I took a few minutes ago.
