I have the NISMO CAI, and love it. I a%%-dyno confirms a noticeable increase in performance and there is definitely much more a growl when I romp on it. I can't compare it to anything but the stock unit, and there is definitely a performance improvement from that one. I would be interested to hear from the guys that had the NISMO CAI and swapped it for something else.

One thing I'd like to find is some little dress-up bracket/cover to install onto the two bolt holes left open from the old factory unit. I'd love to be able to do the mod that "jcbagnal" did, but I know that my version would just become a gooey mess.

well if you subscribe to stillen they send you info on sales like i got my intake last year on fathers day sale for 190 and it's way better then airaid

sport truck magazine dyno 11whp with stillen intake

volant is the best but i couldn't afford the extra 100 bux for piping but the box is pretty much the same except stillen uses stock piping

edit: volant 275 https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=3627

I would do the NISMO intake, but I'm not diggin the open air box, especially when my engine still has dirty water stains from the last gi-normus puddle I forded.

When I asked about doing better on that price, I was asking about the AEM BF intake specifically.

EDIT: hmmm, now that I consider it, the BF intake is fairly open as well. Maybe I need to reconsider that as well. Volant maybe? How's that Stillen one working out?

i like it the only problem i have is i have a cottonwood tree next to my house so every spring/summer i have to clean my intake cause it's covered in cotton because my drive way looks like it's covered with snow so far it's great if you're ever gonna be around bothell hit me up i'll let you look at it

edit: i went through a puddle when if flood last year so funny a cop signaled me and just kept going he couldnt follow me caus ethe water was up to the top of my wheels, they ended up closing that whole street while i was at home depot then posted suv cops cause the small ones couldn't stop trucks from crossint he flooded street
