How noisy are the Duratrac compared to stock?

I absolutely love your truck man.

Since it keeps raining here, I don't have the usual layer of salt on the truck But the rain makes the sand stick So when it's time to wash I have to rinse for an hour first

I don't normally run them that low. Lowest I have ever needed to run these is 20. But if I had an air source with me, I wouldn't be worried about going down to 15, or even 10, maybe 12 on these tires. Any lower though and I would start to worry.

Why thank you sir

I have to e honest, I only had the stock Rugged Trails on the truck for the drive home from the dealer, and the drive to the tire shop. But on the highway they are a little louder than the Falken street tires I had but in a different way. The street tires had a high pitched whine, and these have more of a low down hum. And I would say they are about the same as the BFG T/A KO's. The only thing is you have to rotate them at 3k or they will make a lot more noise.

It's a lot of stuck on sand and I really don't want to have to deal with swirl marks

I should mention that will include my normal 10-15 minutes rinse of the chassis ans suspension. Might end up being more like 45 minutes I guess.

I'm sure you keep it sealed and waxed in that salty/sandy environment.

I wax a lot, but I haven't reapplied a sealer in over 2 years

I have the adams sealer ready to go once I have a few days for it

You are worse than I was. I neglected to wax my truck for nearly 2 years and I ended up with acid rain etched clear coat. I got the bulk of it out with Adam's polishes after clay barring. I then sealed it and waxed it last January. It still beads water and is smooth but I want to strip wash and re seal and wax it anyway. That Adam's sealer is priceless to me. I strongly advise you to make time for this paint maintenance.

Is a sealer applied like wax?

Not Adam's sealer. I applied mine with a Porter Cable and a foam pad. It goes on thin. Let it haze and sit for 30 minutes before wiping off. It then needs to cure 24 hours before adding another coat of sealer or wax over it. Sealer hs to be applied over claer and naked paint for the best results.

Hello X_Mod, love the buildup. Quick question, didn't see what I thought was the description of the Cat-Back exhaust system pictured in your OP. I seen a few Dynomax items listed but not a cat back. Is that infact a Dynomax system pictured or some thing else. And how do you like the sound of it? Thanks.
