spectacular. what do you mean by "rewiring"? how far off is the speedo?
any plans to enclose the sensors? probably not a big deal around your parts. only asking as it gets a little damp up here in the pac northwet, and would be worried water and/or debri would muck up the signal.

really glad everything's working out. and thanks for being the guinea pig

had to run the front abs sensors to the middle of the truck where the sye is, so i cut the wires before the abs sensor harness ran about 5ft per side of 16awg s-j cord then added the abs sensor back in at the end of the s-j cord
for the rear abs sensors i just traced the wires to the middle of the truck in the main wire loom then just cut the wires and soldered the sensor in

dont know how far off the speedo is because the truck doesn't move right now lol , i just had the DS off and the sensors were reading off the tone ring

Sye

Its looking great, like all of your builds,

A few questions,

What flange did you use for the SYE?
Did you have to open the transfer case to drill and tap the output shaft?
What size bolt are you using?
What setup will you have as far as the drive shaft?

Im having issues with my stock drive shaft,
the SY is coming out too far under accelaration and making contact with the bottom of the cab,

Ill take some pics of where its hitting,

Thanks in advance,

Jr

no , i was able to take the dust shield off cut back part of the shaft then drill and tap
What size bolt are you using? 1/2" bolt
What setup will you have as far as the drive shaft? ford flange to 2 piece driveshaft with slip built in to another flange

yeah show some pics i dont see how your sy could be hitting the cab without the sy falling out and driveshaft hitting the ground

getting closer to getting the rear axle under the truck, made up some caliper bracket extensions to run a large single piston caliper instead of the massive dual piston caliper
painted the hd cover
found out that the axle was 32 spline instead of 35 spline so ill be searching the yards for some 35 spline axles , if i cant find any ill have some made up so i can run an e-locker

got the new locker installed , took a while to get a good pattern since the locker was different than the open carrier
springs out and have new bushings , just waiting for the paint to dry then i can install the axle under the truck
