ordered a m226 master install kit from Steevo along with ring gear spacers
goin to pull the diff out this weekend and see if the tone rings will swap over on the axle shafts or see what i need to do to make them work
then install the jk 4.10 gear set into the m226

Will the jk axles not fit in the m226 housing? If they do that would save the need for adapters and mean chromos would be available ( saw your post on jeep forum and it made sense there for some reason)

biggest reason i dont want to run the jk axle is because i dont really want to buy new wheels , id rather just buy adapters up front
plus i dont know if the axle shafts are the same length

right now im just trying to do the swap on a budget

the other issue is the rotors are different diameters and thickness
so even if the axles were the correct lengths you would run into issues with backing plates, rotors and calipers

Are you going to link the front and rear, or just keep the rear leafed and link the front?
