Uhm the install was easy.. I done it with a friend and we took our time, probably spent 1.5 hours working total. I did not do the ECU reset. I may do it tomorrow, idk. The gains were magically there. I'm not complaining by any means haha.

Back to the install... it's not as easy as everyone makes it seem, or I was just over cautious when it came to removing hoses and sh!t. It's pretty straight forward though. You'll have no trouble if you're taking your time.

Did you get stuck at any point that really gave you trouble? Also did you have an e-torx or did you use the double nut method.

The install can be a little daunting if you have never removed an intake manifold before. But I'm glad to hear it wasn't too bad! And that you like the results! That's the most important part Overall, the wasn't too bad, right?

If you do it, just be careful not to drop anything down the open intake runners. You can stuff some rags in there, or my favorite is masking tape over the whole thing. You do NOT want to drop a socket, or one of those e-torx down there while you're removing them.

Not to threadjack, but like this:

I know it's not the best picture, but this is when I took mine off to do some crap under the hood

You're fine Nate. Your bay looks wicked.

I did have a minor set back when it came to these. We tried the double method but it didn't work. We took a pair of channel locks and used some elbow grease and eventually worked them out. When we put in the new longer, black studs we tightened them down using the double nut method. Do the same thing CXJ says except tighten the top instead of loosening the bottom.

Updated the first post in my thread with pictures and mods.

CXJ IMS is easily the best mod I've done.
New BFG 33s
Bil 5100/OME + DIY BL may be in my near future.
