Caught some photos out in the wild on Saturday. Trying to get out while I can around here. Just went by myself. It was beautiful!

Turned around here. There is a rather large and suddenly deep creek crossing just out of view. Didnt need to get stuck 10 miles out by myself.

Since its winter, I have some spare time to make plans for truck upgrades this spring/summer. I was planning on getting a winch, but things change and Im currently working on procuring a t-swap. When I do that, Ill be pulling my Calmini drop bracket off. I dont want much more lift than I currently have and I can put the truck back to roughly the same with a t-swap with SAW coilovers. Will likely do a small (1"-2") body lift at the same time just to gain tire clearance.

Im also getting new tires and will be going up in size from the 285/70-17s I have now. Max will be 35s. I want to try something different than the BFG ATs. Cant decide if I should go with something like the BFG MT KM2s or maybe the Duratracs. Never had a MT tire so Im really wanting to try some out. But I live in snow country, so maybe the Duratracs would be best..... oh man I cant make up my mind.

Since my bumper was designed with the calmini db in mind, that means I will have to re-work my bumper. Then I got to thinking.... What if I cut the plastic piece thats above the bumper and some of the fender and moved the bumper up a few inches. I did a quick photoshop and dang, Im doing this. Ill gain some approach angle, lose some fender, make the truck look meaner and not have to modify the bumper as much.

If I do move the bumper up, I will likely lose the room I made for the 30" led bar though. I would have to fab a mount for it to go on the roof then.

Cant decide on a rear bumper design yet. My criteria....It has to look similar to the front bumper design, have a large enough top surface to stand on, have an integrated hitch/light plug and spot for license plate, be low profile, protect the bedsides and ideally a spot for two 4" Alien leds and just maybe a tire/jerry can gate. No wonder I cant decide. After seeing Penski/Sexy6chicks truck, I also may cut off some of the bottom of the bed just behind the wheel wells. Thanks for the inspiration! Ill post some of my designs up here soon.

I have a secret mod in the works too, but Ill save that one for another time.

Lots of decisions to be made, but I have plenty of time. Opinions and comments are welcome! First time really getting into modding a truck, so I have a lot of things to learn along the way.

I vote Duratracs, and of course, I'm impartial Duratracs are about as aggressive as an AT can get, almost an MT.

If you close the gap on the bumper, could you mount the LED bar to the hoop? I really like how it looks now
