Once again, thanks guys

Justin: I think having power available in the rear vs. only in the front will be very helpful in taming the rats nests, and just make it overall easier for a lot of things

Mark: Just let me know if your free some time one of these weekends and we can get some lunch or something like that, and you can check it out.

Nate: I feel like I may need to implement this same idea, as I had other non truck related things on my to do list for Sunday that did not get done lol

Ryan: I'll let you know, but as for now I think I'll just keep the 2nd one on. I'm looking at getting some beefier skids, at which time I don't think I'll be able to use the 2nd hook.

Carl: My reasoning behind them is I really did not like how messy the wiring on the old truck was... And I plan on integrating a bunch of things into the truck (lights, OBA, inverter, and more lights). That sweet about the bike! I didn't know you had one. You should come out with us for sure then! I'll be out in Ocotillo for thanksgiving if you want to meet up at some point. Let me know!

Cool man well let me get these valves done and I should be ready to ride!

Update!
Once again my weekend so far has been all about the truck....
I'm in the process of reinstalling all of the stereo components as well as my CB, and wiring up all of my lights, with the lights comes the rack going back on as well

Today I was able to install the rack, wire up its lights, mount my CB antenna and run the coax, pre run speaker wire into shell, and mount my sub amp and run the power and ground for both amps. I'd say I was productive today, although my girlfriend would beg to differ Tomorrow the attack on the truck will continue!

Just 2 pics today:
Out at lunch with the rack installed

And Lights wired up!

Thanks guys, and Nate yes I'm trying to prewire everything so that I only have to fish wire around a few times. I'm just debating on what type of wire to use. The plan is to have a "light bar strip" on the driver, pass, and rear; so I need 6 leads. I liked the trailer wire you recommended for the main lights on the front but its only got 4 leads. While browsing Home Depot yesterday I saw that sprinkler wire has 7 leads of 18 gauge and its cheap. I'm not sure what I would use the 7th lead for or if I could just use the trailer wire again and just have all of them share a ground wire. What do you think the best solution is?

Sprinkler wire works great! If you have small leds, cat-5e wire works even better! But cat-5e won't do so good for more than 2" LED strips. I use sprinkler wire on all of my switches, so I only have one complete set of switched 12v outs that are color coded

I think a common ground makes sense, then you can have 6 strips!

Just make sure you get stranded sprinkler wire, the solid core will work fine, but it is a b!^#$ to rout. And stranded is better for electrical conductivity anyway. If you can only find solid core, that's fine. My switches are running solid core, but that was so I could put the wire straight into my barrier strips and screw it down without needing any terminations.

^ haha Sprinkler wire it is then I'll pick some up on my way home from work today. Nate I was going to ask you too, what do you think is the smallest gauge wire I could use for the switching the relay coils? The reason I ask is that I want to run all my switches to one place using a single multi pair cable (just like cat-5e). I'm looking at using RS-232 cable which has 25, 28awg cables within it. I was doing some research and a typical auto relay coil pulls about 200 milliamps. The run would be no longer than 15 feet. Would that small of gauge handle the current?

As for truck progress, none for yesterday. I needed a break and my girlfriend had the day off so we tried to do the Santa Ysabel Truck Trail. We drove all the way out there only to find that the gate was closed
