Will these fit and not stick out too far?!?!
I found a set of 22x9.5 w/ +35mm offset wheels on the cheap NIB....thinkin' bout gettin 'em...but they are 5 lug! If I were to run say a 1" wide adapter would these wheels stick out so far that it would look like crap or just enough to look right? My truck is a 2006 Frontier SE v-6

There are a lot of other factors involved in whether or not they will fit, like the tires you select, backspacing, will they clear your calipers, and whether or not you have a lift.
Personally, I would not put on a set of wheels that need adapters. I know there are others on here that do it, but I'd rather stay within the limited selection of wheels that have the correct lug pattern and are confirmed to work with our vehicles.

I believe the adapter would need to be thicker than 1" to clear the lugnuts as well. In another post I saw 1.5" min. i think.

anytime you run an adapter you must take its thickness and negate the offset. so if your adapter is 1-1.5" thick, you end up with a 0mm offset. with a 9.5" wheel, itll stick out.
doesnt matter if they are cheap, if its not right for the vehicle, dont waste your time. |
