wheele spacer (stock rims)

Hey guys. I have a little question. I love the look of the tires slightly spaced out of the flares A LITTLE. But am i in no way financially secure to do a titan swap lol but i was thinking what if i get a spacer and use the stock rims nothing huge just maybe about 1/2 in. You guys think its a good idea or not and if so what should i put on the order form for them. Thanks guys

??????????????? anyone

never wanted spacers until i had to get them when i got new wheels that required them. now i love it cause they stick out just a little bit (1/2") from the flares and look much more agressive with the wide stance.

so if you are going to use stock tires and wheels, just measure it's existing position and how much spacer you need to get the 1/2" exposure...

someone correct me but I think .5" spacer is too thick cause our stock lugs are only 1" long. Not sure if its safe to have the lug nuts bite on only about 0.25" of thread.

Wheel spacers have the lugs on them, you use the stock lugs to secure the spacer. With that concept in mind, im not sure you could do a spacer that small, as the stock lugs will be sticking out too far, though I am not sure exactly how that would work.

Here is a photo of what I am talking about

vtecprelude92 had 1 1/2 inch spacers on his truck. he had a set 0f 285s on it and if i am not mistaking, the 2 inch levelling lift (spacers/shackles).

Yes, the stance is "meaner" with a 1.5" wider track

To avoid confusion are we talking about either a (1) spacer or (2) adapter?

1. spacer (no lugs) of 1/2"
or 2. wheel adapter (with lugs), but this needs to be at least 1 1/16" (using open end lug nuts) to clear the stock lugs which are 1". IMO wheel adapter would be the better option. mine are 2" for my rear wheels.

This is what I have from WheelAdapter.com - Wheel Spacers, Wheel Adapters, Used Wheels that are hub centric AND wheel centric:
