Quick google search found this:

I called Discount Tire today to see weight of Nitto Terra Grapplers. Guy looked it up and said Nitto rates 265x16 8-ply & 10-ply weight at 47lbs. 285x16 8-ply & 10-ply is 53 pounds each tire. (Reason for asking...I recently added 3" Revtek lift and went from 265x16 8-ply to 285x16 10-ply. It's winter now. MPG down from 18-19 in summer to arounf 14 now. Not sure if winter gas, larger tire size, extra weight from 10-ply, new tire size messing with od, new lift, suffering from lead-foot-itis caused by newly added big tires/lift, or...most likley...a combo.) Knowing the 285s are only a total 24lbs overall more, I am not sure this is a huge factor to MPG loss. I'm trying to ease the petal from the metal.

i picked up one of my TG's (265/75/16) before they were mounted and would agree with the 47lbs listed above, that seems about right.

def. noticeable.

If your stock tires weighed about 41lbs a peice, then you went to 58 with the SAs (which was one reason that I went BFG and Nitto over the Goodyears), you will def. notice an improvement in gas and acceleration/braking. No doubt.
